María Corina Machado at the EPP Libertas forum in Madrid: she will return to Venezuela as a “stabilizing force”

María Corina Machado spoke by video on Wednesday at the EPP Libertas Forum in Madrid, organized by the European People's Party. According to Efecto Cocuyo, she said she will return to Venezuela as a “stabilizing, pacifying and organizing” force and that no society is more united than Venezuela's. On Tuesday, in the U.S. Congress, the State Department repeated that it does not oppose her return, El Diario reported. Commentator David Placeres summed up Washington's stance: it will not block her, but it will not help either.
