Chavismo and the opposition agree on seven-jurist panel to vet new Supreme Court candidates
The government-opposition dialogue table named a seven-jurist council, announced by Jorge Rodríguez and Dinorah Figuera, to review whether candidates for the new Supreme Court meet legal requirements, according to Infobae and El Diario. In a video posted Sunday, opposition commentator David Placeres said "Dinorah's team" — the opposition — holds a majority on that council to help decide the new court's makeup, by his own analysis.
