Caracas protests demand the return of María Corina Machado, stuck in Panama
Vente Venezuela supporters protested on September 24 at a CNE office in Caracas, demanding Machado's return and elections now, RFI reported. According to La Jornada, they blocked the Cacique Guaicaipuro highway for 30 minutes after Bonaire, Aruba and Curaçao denied landing to her flight from Panama.
Her adviser Pedro Urruchurtu spoke of seven failed attempts, according to MercoPress. NTN24 said the State Department spokeswoman denied Washington is blocking her. NTN24 also aired a SAIME screenshot reading "ID without issues", with no official confirmation, according to El Universal.
