Omar González, a Vente Venezuela leader, returned home on Friday, heading to Barcelona, Anzoátegui, NTN24 reported. He spent about 18 months sheltering in Argentina's embassy in Caracas and is the first of the six María Corina Machado aides there to return. He said Machado asked him to clear the way: 'she is coming after me.'
González thanked the State Department and Secretary Marco Rubio for their support, according to NTN24. Efecto Cocuyo carried the same message. Commentator David Placeres said Donald Trump still 'won't fully raise Machado's hand,' but that her circle insists she will arrive.

The National Assembly passed on first reading the reform of the Supreme Court (TSJ) law agreed at the dialogue table, Efecto Cocuyo reported. The Judicial Nominations Committee grows from 21 to 23 members: 11 lawmakers and 12 civil society representatives. Assembly president Jorge Rodríguez said the decision on justices still belongs to the Assembly.
On VTV, Rodríguez presented the reform as chavismo's own project. From the opposition, David Placeres said the Assembly 'loses definitive control of the TSJ' and that the change was 'imposed by the United States.'

The U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control issued eight amended general licenses on Thursday, including 46D for exporting Venezuelan oil, 50C for companies such as Chevron, Repsol, Eni and Shell, 51C for minerals such as gold, and 61A for telecoms, La Verdad reported.
On VTV, a program called the licenses a relief and said they give oil companies room to operate with some security.
