Bloomberg and UPI: Venezuela to scrap police checkpoints as oil output reaches 1.23 million barrels a day

Bloomberg reported that Venezuela will end the checkpoints long used to police dissent. According to NTN24, Delcy Rodríguez said they will be replaced by reinforced patrols.

UPI reported that oil output reached 1.23 million barrels a day, its highest level in seven years, with 50 strategic oil and gas agreements signed.
