Committee that will pick the new Supreme Court will have a civil-society majority, La Patilla reports

The new Judicial Nominations Committee, which will choose the justices of the next Supreme Court, will have a civil-society majority, La Patilla reported on Tuesday. It is one of the points of the dialogue table between chavismo and the 2015 National Assembly.

A U.S. Congressional Research Service report, published by USNI News, says the Trump administration backs that dialogue led by Jorge Rodríguez and Dinorah Figuera, without María Corina Machado or Edmundo González. VPItv recalled the Supreme Court's role in past elections; on La Iguana TV, Domingo Medina called for respecting the Constitution.
