Cilia Flores's defense seeks house arrest in New York over her health

The defense of Cilia Flores, Nicolás Maduro's wife and co-defendant in the New York case, formally filed a motion with the court asking that she be released under house arrest pending trial, citing heart problems, according to the case docket and CNN.

The judge authorized sealing only the private medical records filed with the request. Opposition commentator David Placeres discussed the request on his morning show.
