Amnesty International and relatives demand medical care for Venezuela's political prisoners

Amnesty International and relatives of political prisoners demanded independent medical evaluations, access for families and lawyers, and uninterrupted treatment, EFE reported. Andreína Baduel, sister of detainee Josnars Baduel, denounced delays in care. According to Foro Penal, cited by EFE, more than 300 political prisoners remain behind bars.

On Vladimir Villegas's show, relatives of detainees from Falcón and Monagas denounced missing records in the case files and asked for the amnesty law to be applied to the remaining post-election cases. They said the Zulia detainees have a closing hearing on September 1.
