José David Cabello leaves Seniat; Román Maniglia replaces him

Acting president Delcy Rodríguez removed José David Cabello, Diosdado Cabello's brother, from Seniat after 18 years in the post, Infobae and Efecto Cocuyo reported. He will now head Pequiven. He is replaced by Román Maniglia, former head of Banco de Venezuela, who will focus on digitizing tax collection, according to Efecto Cocuyo.

According to Infobae, Jacqueline Faría leaves the Transport Ministry, taken over by Francisco Garcés, to coordinate recovery after the earthquakes. Commentator David Placeres said Diosdado Cabello is losing control of Seniat for the first time in almost three decades.
