Diosdado Cabello: "dialogue does not mean surrender," wants lifting of sanctions on the table

At a PSUV press conference, Diosdado Cabello said the dialogue called by acting president Delcy Rodríguez takes place this weekend, that chavismo goes "as a single bloc" and that the process "has split the opposition further." He added that lifting sanctions must be part of the talks.

Harder-line chavistas objected: Mario Silva said on La Hojilla that the United States told Jorge Rodríguez to sit down with Figuera. David Placeres reported that Iris Varela asked for dialogue with Henrique Capriles.
